Normal Construction Hours:

Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 

Saturdays: 8:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m. 
(Interior Construction Only)

Construction is Prohibited:

Evenings between 7:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
All Day Sunday and Construction Holidays

   

Extended Hours Construction Permit Application

To request for construction to take place outside of the normal construction hours, please submit an application via the City of West Hollywood Permit & License Portal (tylerhost.net), create an account, select "Extended Hours Construction Permit", complete the questionnaire and submit.  You can also download the Extended Hours Construction Permit Application and submit via email.

Submission Deadline 

  • Applications must be submitted at least 3 business days prior to the requests work dates.
  • All weekend requests must be submitted by NOON of the preceding WEDNESDAY

Applications submitted less than 3 days prior to the work commencing, will carry a fee of $400.00 for the first day.

NOTE: Submitting an application does not guarantee automatic approval

Each permit application is carefully considered to ensure that the work being requested needs to be done outside of the normal construction hours and that it will not create an unnecessary burden on the neighborhood-at-large 

Fees

The fee for the Extended Hours Permit Application is $200.00 for the first day of work, and $50.00 for each subsequent workday.  These permits will not be granted for longer than 30 days at a time.
