City of West Hollywood COVID-19 Declaration of Local Emergency has Ended
The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health), the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) serve as lead Public Health agencies for the City of West Hollywood.
The City of West Hollywood issued a declaration of local emergency due to coronavirus (COVID-19) on March 16, 2020. The City’s local emergency in response to the COVID-19 pandemic has been lifted and, as of April 1, 2023, it is no longer in effect.

Los Angeles County Department of Public Health Information and Resources
LA County Public Health is aligning county safety measures with federal and state COVID-19 guidance, while continuing to require a few common-sense measures at worksites, educational institutions, and healthcare facilities to reduce COVID-19-related disruptions and protect the people at highest risk of severe illness.
Public Health also is maintaining its robust tracking of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, and requiring schools, worksites, skilled nursing facilities and other entities to report clusters of COVID-19 cases.

Local Public Health officials and the CDC recommend that people stay up-to-date with COVID-19 vaccines including boosters. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine after you have recovered from COVID-19 infection provides added protection against COVID-19, as well.

Los Angeles County is offering in-home COVID-19 vaccinations for homebound community members. To register for an in-home vaccination, community members should visit the LA County Public Health website at http://publichealth.lacounty.gov/acd/ncorona2019/vaccine/hcwsignup to complete and submit an online form.
COVID-19 testing options remain available from Los Angeles County, which advises residents to first call their healthcare provider for a COVID-19 test. If you cannot get a test through a healthcare provider, free testing is available. Visit https://covid19.lacounty.gov/testing for details from Los Angeles County.
