This branch of the Code Compliance Division is responsible for administering Business Licenses, Special Event Permits, Extended Hours Construction Permits, Valet Parking Meters, and Valet Parking Signs.  Additionally, we manage the outdoor dining encroachment permit renewals for the Engineering Division.

Purpose

Our purpose is to regulate certain businesses and uses to ensure that their operation does not adversely affect the general welfare of the community. We assist the Code Enforcement unit in monitoring compliance with the different operating requirements.
