The Community Services Department provides support to the City Council, oversees and engages in advocacy efforts to advance the City’s legislative priorities and is responsible for the City’s recreation programs and community and large-scale events.  The Department also provides community outreach and engagement, and the oversight of a Commission and several City Advisory Boards.

The Department is made up of three Divisions

• Event Services
• Recreation Services

The Director of Community Services is Yvonne Quarker.
