The City of West Hollywood offers a subsidy program aimed at providing assistance for transit expenses to its older adult (aged 62 and over) and disabled residents of any age. Participants in this program receive $20 in Stored Value every month at no cost, which, due to Metro's fare capping policy, is sufficient to cover an entire month of Metro bus and rail rides.

To be eligible for this program, applicants must have an active Senior/Disabled Orange TAP card. If participant does not have a TAP card, he/she may apply for one from Metro. Applications can be found on Metro's website.`

First time participants must apply in person at City Hall. Bring photo ID (copy of California identification card or passport), proof of West Hollywood residency (copy of utility bill), and your valid Metro Senior/Disabled Orange TAP card to City Hall.
