NCJW LA’s COVID-19 Rental Assistance Program provides financial assistance to West Hollywood renters under age 55 who are unable to pay rent due to issues related to COVID-19 (illness, loss of employment, reduction of working hours, caring for a household member with COVID-19, etc.). Renters can apply for assistance to cover up to $1,000, which will be paid directly to the management company. A maximum of six grants are available 30 days after approval of the preceding grant, pending documented continued financial impact from COVID-19. Additional assistance may be available for those who are low-income and/or living with dependents.

Required documentation includes: 1. Utility bill, 2. Identification, 3. Documentation of COVID-19 impact, 4. Lease and landlord information, 5. Declaration of COVID-19-related financial distress hardship.

Provides financial assistance to persons living with HIV/AIDS to pay for rent, utilities and pharmaceuticals. The Alliance for Housing and Healing Aging in Place Program provides supplemental rental assistance to all older adults residing in the City of West Hollywood who are experiencing a rent burden.

Los Angeles County’s COVID-19 Related Rental Assistance Programs

Emergency Financial Assistance for People Living with HIV/AIDS 

Need-based and short-term financial assistance is available to assist Ryan White Program-eligible individuals. All financial assistance is made through confidential payments on behalf of the client. Expenses other than rent can be covered as well. Individuals can apply for a maximum total of $5,000 over a 12-month period.

Los Angeles County COVID-19 Rent Relief
LA County COVID-19 Rent Relief | 211LA

The LA County COVID-19 Rent Relief Program is for tenants that reside within the County of Los Angeles, excluding the City of Los Angeles. The program will assist low-income tenants/households recently impacted by loss of income related to the COVID-19 pandemic.
