The Division of Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine at Children's Hospital Los Angeles promotes healthy futures by attending to the physical, emotional, and social needs of young people ages 12 to 25. Services include primary health care, immunizations, reproductive health, counseling/mental health, care for youth experiencing homelessness, support for pregnant and parenting teens and young adults, substance use prevention and treatment, HIV/STI testing and prevention, care for youth living with HIV, health care and mental health for transgender and gender non-conforming youth, and consultations for families with gender non-conforming children.

Community Intervention Through Youth (C.I.T.Y.) x1 is a nonprofit organization dedicated to putting on free social events for at-risk and Homeless LGBT youth ages 14-24. Youth are fed, given a fun & empowering afternoon, and are all linked to valuable social services like emotional support, GED enrollment, HIV & STD Testing, & transitional living programs. All events are alcohol & tobacco-free and provide a safe space where youth can access much-needed services and interact with their community

Youth Services provides case management, crisis intervention, food, clothing, job counseling, material assistance, shelter, showers, GED Prep courses, emergency shelter, and transitional living for 18-24 year olds.
LifeWorks is the youth development and mentoring program of the Los Angeles LGBT Center. They offer one on one, peer, and group mentoring opportunities for LGBTQ+ youth and allies ages 24 or younger.
LOS ANGELES UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT
The Los Angeles Unified School District has opened a phone hotline students and families can call for help to manage fear, anxiety and other challenges related to COVID-19.
The phone hotline – (213) 241-3840 – will be open 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays, staffed by counselors and mental health professionals to provide support in both English and Spanish. Teachers can also call and get advice on how to connect their students to services.

The Cedars-Sinai Share & Care program provides services to at-risk children and adolescents. Professional counselors provide services to students who are experiencing emotional and academic challenges due to traumatic situations and stressors. Share & Care provides a group structure to facilitate emotional nurturing, healthy self-esteem and positive coping skills through a 12-week art therapy curriculum that can result in academic success.
