The Corbin Jones Big Band performs 90 minutes of swingin', funky, and emotional renditions of your favorite holiday classics. The 22-piece ensemble features GRAMMY award winning, nominated, and emerging artists alike. Get ready for fun and truly magical moments, as the CJBB makes sure to let the audience in on feeling the love.

Arranger and multi-instrumentalist Corbin Jones has credits with such artists as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Lizzo. Notable performances include shows at Coachella, Newport Jazz Festival, and at Jazz @ Lincoln Center. A graduate of USC Thornton School’s Jazz Studies program, Jones’ love of groove has led him to a career on not only double bass, but bass guitar, synth bass, sousaphone, and baritone saxophone. His own group, The Corbin Jones Big Band, specializes in humorous, fantastical, and feel-good remixes of Jazz and R&B classics.

• This event is open to all ages and will be performed outdoors.
• If weather does not permit, the event will be presented indoors.
• Seating is first come, first serve. Priority seating for older adults until 3:15PM.
• Valet parking $15 special discounted flat rate for attendees. Street parking may also be available.

Born in Seattle, 3x GRAMMY® nominated jazz vocalist Sara Gazarek reigns as one of the most creative voices of her generation, and one “who may well turn out to be the next important jazz singer” (LA Times). Collaborating with jazz legends Fred Hersch, Billy Childs, Kurt Elling, and more, and with 6 critically acclaimed albums under her belt at the age of 41, Gazarek tours internationally as a band leader.

Julius Rodriguez

A gifted pianist and multi-instrumentalist, Julius Rodriguez combines his jazz-trained chops with his passion for R&B, gospel, and hip-hop. He initially grabbed audiences' attention touring with A$AP Rocky, most recently Kurt Elling and Charlie Hunter SuperBlue, and working on projects with Meshell Ndegeocello, Kassa Overall, Brasstracks, and others. In 2022, he made his solo debut for Verve Records with Let Sound Tell All.

Bending the future of sound is keyboard maestro, vocalist, composer, producer, arranger and astral traveler Brandon Coleman. A regular fixture with Babyface, Donald Glover, Flying Lotus, and Kamasi Washington, Coleman represents a new chapter in the evolution of jazz and funk fusion. Following the release of Resistance in 2018 on Brainfeeder, Coleman embarked on a thirty-city tour supporting Flying Lotus, laying his interplanetary grooves down for eager audiences.

All concerts are FREE, on Saturdays at 7:00PM - 8:30PM. Doors at 6PM. Must be 21 and older to attend. Early arrival is strongly suggested.

Location: The Sun Rose, 8430 Sunset Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069, one block east of La Cienga Blvd., at Olive Dr. - Across the street from The Comedy Store. Enter the venue from the street level on Sunset Blvd. 

Admittance: RSVP does not guarantee entry once the venue hits capacity. Seating is first come, first serve, limited to availability. Priority seating for older adults until 6:45PM.

Parking: $15 special discounted rate parking for attendees. Street parking may also be available. Rideshare is suggested.

COVID-19 Guidelines: Face masks are encouraged.
