NuttyJazz

Nutty, Sunday, August 23rd, Kings Road Park 4 PM *

Don Heckman from the LA Times says:
"A one-of-a-kind band...a blend of jazz and rock'n'roll, served up with a swinging, old school Vegas swagger."

Nutty is a hard-swingin' octet that takes mashups to a whole new level, showcasing seamless jazz arrangements of classic pop/rock songs with a stage presentation reminiscent of a Rat Pack show in 1960s Vegas.  With swank crooner Sonny Moon up front, the band cleverly weaves familiar straight-ahead jazz, big band swing, Latin, lounge and TV/film themes into the mix to create a musical martini that is spiked, shaken and stirred.  *This concert is sponsored by the office of LA County Supervisor Sheila Kuehl.
