Water Wise | Water Works Symposium
The City of West Hollywood hosted a free in-person symposium on April 20th, 2024: Water Wise | Water Works. The event focused on water as a natural resource, concentrating on its indispensable role in supporting urbanized environments. The symposium also looked ahead at issues, opportunities, and challenges in West Hollywood and the Greater Los Angeles region in the future.

The City of West Hollywood hosted a free in-person symposium on June 10th, 2023: The POPS + PARTS Symposium was presented by the City of West Hollywood Urban Design & Architecture Studio and Green Team and examines the dynamic, changing relationship between public and private open space in West Hollywood.

Urban Forestry + Biodiversity Symposium
The City of West Hollywood hosted a free virtual symposium on April 24th, 2021: The Urban Forestry & Biodiversity Symposium was presented by the City of West Hollywood Urban Design & Architecture Studio and brought the community together with experts on the natural and built environment.
The event explored the topics of urban forestry and biodiversity through four lenses:
Urban Flora: Tree Canopies and Biodiverse Green Spaces;
Urban Fauna: West Hollywood’s Native Wildlife Residents;
Biomimicry: Learning Lessons from Nature; and
Biophilic and Regenerative Inspired Design.
