The Santa Monica Boulevard Reconstruction Project was the City of West Hollywood's 2-year, $34 million redevelopment and beautification plan for Santa Monica Boulevard, the City's largest public works project undertaken to date. Final construction ended in August 2001 and the grand re-opening took place on Sunday, August 19, 2001.
