Who We Are

The City of West Hollywood's emergency management program coordinates, cooperates, and collaborates with all City Departments, the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the West Hollywood Sheriff's Station, Block-by-Block Security Ambassadors, and stakeholders to strengthen the City's ability to prepare for, mitigate against, respond to, and recover from all types of disaster.

What We Do

The City's Public Safety Division oversees various activities, programs, and projects designed to enhance the City's ability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters. Training, drills, and disaster exercises are conducted regularly. In addition, the Public Safety and Emergency Management staff actively advocates for the importance of preparedness to the community through presentations, events, and outreach efforts.
