About

On July 1, 2021, the City of West Hollywood launched the Dockless Micromobility Pilot Program with e-scooters and e-bikes. The pilot program is part of the City of West Hollywood’s efforts to expand its transportation network by supporting a range of environmentally sustainable options to get around the City and enhance connectivity and mobility of multimodal transportation alternatives for the region-at-large. The City of West Hollywood works regularly with residents, businesses, and the community to develop innovative solutions to transportation challenges and to balance the needs of people who walk, bike, use transit, and drive in the City of West Hollywood.

On December 18, 2023, the City Council approved moving forward with the next phase of the program implementation which includes substantial revisions to the contract such as increased program fees, public right-of-way fees, penalty fees, mandatory parking areas, and strict policy requiring operators to promptly respond to service requests and complaints.
