Home MenuRevised Public Review Draft General Plan & Public Review Draft Climate Action Plan (April 2011)
The Public Review Draft General Plan 2035 was developed via extensive input from the West Hollywood community. It documents our shared vision of tomorrow and sets the policies and programs to achieve that vision. A Climate Action Plan has also been prepared as part of the General Plan Update process. The Climate Action Plan offers a toolkit of policies and actions by which residents, businesses, and City government can continue to be leaders in environmental sustainability and collectively lessen our impact on the environment.
The Public Review Draft General Plan and Climate Action Plan were released in June, 2010. Public hearings with the Planning Commission were held in September 2010, followed by an ongoing series of public hearings with the City Council beginning in December 2010. The Public Review documents have been modified to reflect the input of community members and City decision-makers during the public hearing process. A Revised Public Review Draft General Plan and Revised Public Review Draft Climate Action Plan were prepared in April, 2011. The General Plan and Climate Action Plan are expected to be adopted by the City Council this summer. A list of changes reflected in the Revised Draft documents is available via a link, below.
