The City of West Hollywood is continuing to follow the lead of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (Public Health), the California Department of Public Health (CA Public Health), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to respond to coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The City of West Hollywood is taking every precaution to prioritize community health and well-being. Based on public health recommendations from lead agencies, and in an effort to safeguard public health and slow the rate of transmission of COVID-19, the City of West Hollywood is getting the word out Los Angeles County has ordered all bars, clubs, gyms, theatres, bowling alleys, arcades, and entertainment venues closed and restaurants are required to end dine-in service and provide take out or delivery service only. This includes the City of West Hollywood.
The City of West Hollywood’s City Council will meet tonight regarding a local emergency declaration, which will define next steps in response to the coronavirus outbreak. The City Council meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on www.weho.org/wehotv and www.youtube.com/wehotv.
