Post Date:October 10, 2019 8:36 AM

trafficadvisoryUpdate: The construction work will be extended to Monday, October 21 through Friday, October 25.  Northbound Robertson will continue to be closed to northbound traffic between Melrose Avenue and El Tovar Place between the hours of 7:00am to 3:00pm.

The City of West Hollywood is getting the word out about a planned daytime closure of the northbound lane of Robertson Boulevard, just north of Melrose Avenue.

From Monday, October 14, 2019 to Friday, October 18, 2019, and again from Monday, October 21, 2019 to Friday, October 25, 2019 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, Robertson Boulevard will be closed to northbound traffic between Melrose Avenue and El Tovar Place. The closure is necessary in order to accommodate sewer rehabilitation work in this area. Traffic Control will be in place at all times during working hours.

Additional details:

  • The intersection of Santa Monica and Robertson Boulevards will be unaffected by this closure and will be open to traffic, as usual;
  • Southbound Robertson Boulevard will remain open to traffic;
  • One lane in each direction will remain available at all times on Melrose Avenue;
  • The valet stand normally located on the east side of Robertson Boulevard between Melrose Avenue and El Tovar place will be temporarily relocated directly across the street on the west side of Robertson Boulevard; and
  • At 3 p.m. each day, roadways will be fully reopened and curbside parking will be restored.
