City has Launched an Online Service Portal for Rent Stabilized Property Owners and is Hosting In-Person Training Workshops

Post Date:June 18, 2019 9:08 AM

landlord_signin_2019_01_29The City of West Hollywood has launched its first-ever online service portal for rent stabilized property owners. The new online portal allows property managers to register new tenancies online (new tenancies are required to be registered in the database within 30 days of lease signing); pay annual program fees; update contacts or agent information; link properties to a single account; register new properties; and download forms. More information can be found at www.weho.org/rent.

As part of launching the new portal, staff members from the City of West Hollywood’s Rent Stabilization and Housing Division are hosting a series of workshops aimed at showing users features and tools of the new site. Property owners are strongly encouraged to attend a training workshop in order to help create an online account and to assist in accessing this new resource. Seating is limited; RSVPs are requested.

There are two Rent Stabilization landlord portal trainings coming up in June. The first training will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. at the West Hollywood Library Community Meeting Room, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard; the second training will take place on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 7 p.m. at West Hollywood City Hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard.

Additionally, beginning in July, the Rent Stabilization & Housing Division will have an iPad accessible at its front counter at West Hollywood City Hall for property owners who do not have access to a computer.  Staff will be available to assist in setting-up an online account.

The City of West Hollywood’s Rent Stabilization and Housing Division is dedicated to programs that promote a strong and vibrant residential community. The City provides a breadth of information and services to both tenants and owners of residential rental properties, which includes in-house services and written materials. The division also facilitates the development of new housing, the rehabilitation of existing buildings, and the development of mixed-use projects with a housing component. For additional information, please visit www.weho.org/rsh.
