The City of West Hollywood’s Planning and Development Services Department invites community members to its Pizza with the Planners community event on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Plummer Park’s Fiesta Hall, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard. The City’s Long Range Planning Division programs will be featured in this meet-and-greet event. Planners will provide community members with opportunities to ask questions, provide feedback, and get to know City Hall staff and in-house policy experts. Did we mention pizza?! The event is free and open to the public.
Pizza with the Planners will highlight projects and policies aimed at improving the quality of life for West Hollywood residents. The event will feature a series of engaging information areas on topics such as the City’s Green Building Ordinance, streetscape improvement plans, upcoming amendments to the City’s zoning code, and creative land use solutions. The City of West Hollywood’s Long Range Planning Division is an inter-disciplinary team focused on supporting a vibrant, livable, and sustainable West Hollywood and implements the vision and goals established in the West Hollywood General Plan and Climate Action Plan. The division works to guide West Hollywood’s future development, collaboratively developing policies and plans that create positive change in the City. The City works with the community to develop solution and policies that improve the quality of life, promote sustainability and public health, strengthen the local economy, enhance mobility and public spaces, and encourage participation in the planning process.
