Sculptor Soraya Sarah Nazarian kicked off the exhibit of a 25-year survey of her work in “Strength Revealed” on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Gallery 817, located at 817 N. Hilldale Avenue in West Hollywood. The exhibition, curated by Barbara Gilbert, curator emerita of the Skirball Cultural Center, will present the full range of Nazarian’s accomplishments and earn her a place among the few contemporary artists who have accepted the challenge of direct carving in stone.
