The City of West Hollywood, as part of its expanded partnership with the American Heart Association to promote heart health awareness and education, will celebrate National Walking Day with a talk and a one-mile walk on Wednesday, April 6, 2016, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The Talk and Walk will begin at West Hollywood City Hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard. Members of the community are invited to join-in for the daytime activity, which is designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living. A heart health speaker will rally the participants at the beginning of the event. Then, the group will proceed to Kings Road Park, located at 1000 Kings Road. Free parking for City Hall is available with validation at the Kings Road Municipal Parking structure, located at 8383 Santa Monica Boulevard.
