The City of West Hollywood’s City Council has created an Ethics Reform Task Force to develop recommendations on campaign finance, government ethics, and lobbying.The Task Force is looking forward to hearing from community members on these topics; community members are urged to join the Task Force during two listening meetings in July to voice opinions, experiences, and suggestions.
The first meeting will take place on Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 1 p.m. at the City of West Hollywood’s Council Chambers/Public Meeting Room, located at 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard. Validated parking is available in the five-story parking structure.
The second meeting will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at the West Hollywood Community Center at Plummer Park, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard, in Rooms 5 and 6. Parking is available in surface lots at Plummer Park.
Additional meetings of the Task Force are scheduled for Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. and Monday, August 31, 2015 at 6:30 p.m. at West Hollywood City Hall, located at 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard. Validated parking is available at the Kings Road Parking Structure, located at 8383 Santa Monica Boulevard.
For those unable to attend Task Force meetings, written comments may be submitted by email prior to Tuesday, August 11, 2015 to ethics@weho.org. All written submissions to the Task Force will be public record.
