On Tuesday, February 17, 2015, from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m., The PickUp, West Hollywood’s Free Nighttime Ride, will celebrate Mardi Gras. The Fat Tuesday special holiday service is part of a new plan to expand PickUp service to include popular nightlife holidays. New holiday PickUp service will include:

• ∙Mardi Gras
• ∙St. Patrick’s Day
• ∙Cinco de Mayo
• ∙Sunday before Memorial Day
• ∙Fourth of July
• ∙Sunday before Labor Day
• ∙Halloween
• ∙Thanksgiving Eve (Wednesday Before Thanksgiving Day)
• ∙New Year's Eve

The PickUp, West Hollywood’s Free Nighttime Ride, offers a safe and convenient way to get to a destination in the City of West Hollywood on Fridays and Saturdays (and popular nightlife holidays!) from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. The PickUp is free (and fun!). It travels along Santa Monica Boulevard in a four-mile loop with 10 stops in each direction between Robertson Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue. It arrives at stops every 15 minutes and the music thumps to beat mixes by DJ Derek Monteiro.
