The work of Los Angeles artist and sculptor Liz Craft will be showcased as part of the City of West Hollywood’s latest Art on the Outside initiative, presented by LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division). A reception to launch the outdoor art exhibit will take place on Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at West Hollywood Park, 625 N. San Vicente Boulevard.
Art on the Outside is a program of the City of West Hollywood’s Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission that brings art out into the public realm to enhance the City’s lively pedestrian-friendly culture.
The City’s Art on the Outside initiative partnered with LAND (Los Angeles Nomadic Division), a public art nonprofit, to present Liz Craft’s artwork. The collection of sculptures entitled “The Temple of Folly,” includes Craft’s bronze series “Hairy Guys” along with a large-scale teepee-shaped sculpture. All of the sculptures will be installed around the West Hollywood Park’s concrete stage area on San Vicente Boulevard across from the Pacific Design Center.
