The City of West Hollywood, in conjunction with the LA LGBT Center’s Senior Services Department, will screen the documentary film Being Mortal. This documentary film explores how doctors can better help terminally ill people prepare for death in a comfortable, meaningful, and affordable way — it is based on the book by Dr. Atul Gawande, which examines how Dr. Gawande and other physicians talk with patients and families about death and dying.
