Few people have had the kind of prolonged and profound impact on our culture as has Malcolm Boyd. From his early days as a Hollywood Producer (partner with the legendary Mary Pickford), to becoming the '60s radical Coffeehouse Priest' and best-selling author, Malcolm's story weaves through the volatile beginnings of the Freedom Movement, the contentious eruptions against the Vietnam War, and the current struggle for social, income and marriage equality.
Although he recently left us, this afternoon of celebration, surprise guests, music, humor and intimate recollections, is One City One Pride / WeHo@30's fond tribute to Malcolm - and an opportunity for friends, extended family, and the community to remember his revolutionary zeal, and great passion for love, peace and freedom. Admission is free. Validated parking available in the 5-story parking structure. RSVP at rsvp@disturberofthepeace.com
