Lost in Lvov

This event is presented as part of the City’s WeHo East Arts program and in celebration of Russian History Month. Lost in Lvov brings to life several generations of an educated Jewish family as it transitions from the former Soviet Union (Lvov, Ukraine) to a new life in America. A biographical,multimedia storytelling experience, Lost in Lvov opensa time capsule of memories, secrets and precious experiences of the Belman sisters, three sisters who immigrate to America from the U.S.S.R. The 60-minute performance is created and performed by Sandy Simona, an inter-disciplinary multimedia artist and storyteller. The performances are multi-lingual utilizing a fusion of Russian, Yiddish and English. Suggested donation of $10 will be accepted to offset production costs associated with the performances.
