The City’s annual conference features dynamic speakers, informative panels, expert-led trainings, exhibitors, networking and mentorship opportunities.  The conference will begin with a Power Networking Breakfast and panel discussion.  Suggested donation $10.  The conference Friday night Kick-Off event will feature special guest speakers such as Sandra Fluke, Attorney and Women’s Rights Advocate, and an exclusive screening of The Hunting Ground by Academy Award-nominated filmmakers Kirby Dick and Amy Ziering. There will be a Q&A session with the filmmakers moderated by Alex Cohen, co-host of 89.3 KPCC’s show, Take Two. A reception will follow the film screening. The event is free.  General conference tickets range from $35 to $45 with advance registration; tickets will be $55 on the day of the conference. Tickets for seniors and full-time students are $15. Cost includes continental breakfast and leadership luncheon. The Conference Finale will be an inspiring program celebrating the advancement and achievements of women featuring a screening of She’s Beautiful When She’s Angry, which resurrects the buried history of the outrageous, often brilliant women who founded the modern women’s movement of the late 1960s.
