Anais Nin’s Influence: Women who Knew Nin Talk About her Writing, Her Life and Their Friendship with Her

The City of West Hollywood will host “Anais Nin’s Influence: Women who Knew Nin Talk About her Writing, Her Life and Their Friendship with Her”, which honors the celebrated author and diarist who documented her personal emotional journey in a daily diary that she began at the age of eleven and kept throughout her life. “Anais Nin’s Influence” will present 4 of the female writers she mentored and befriended. Guest speakers include Sas Colby, Valerie Harms, Barbara Kraft, and Tristine Rainer.  Hear their views on the legendary Anaïs Nin and listen as they read passages about Nin.  Curated by West Hollywood’s City Poet Stephen Reigns, the event is co-sponsored by the Women’s Advisory Board as part of the City’s celebration of National Women’s History Month and by Pacifica Radio Archives. Free Admission. Reception to follow the reading.
