The City of West Hollywood through its Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission presents Winter Sounds 2015, an indoor concert series with Southwest Chamber Music.  In “Re-imagining Folk,” tenor Jon Lee Keenan and harpist Alison Bjorkedal explore the voice and harp works of English composer Benjamin Britten. The program will include the colorful Eight Folk Song Suite, with simple melodies re-imagined with modern flair and the Birthday Hansel, Britten's gift to the Queen Mother with poetry by Robert Burns to honor her Scottish roots.  Admission is free.  Validated parking available.  For more information, visit www.weho.org/arts or call (323) 848-6377.
