Join the City of West Hollywood in beautifying West Hollywood Elementary School for the 2016 West Hollywood MLK Jr. Day of Service on January 23, 2016 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm! The City of West Hollywood, along with hundreds of communities across the country, will commemorate the anniversary of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day federal holiday with a day of service. Volunteers are needed to help perform various landscaping, clean-up, painting, and other beautifying tasks at West Hollywood Elementary School. All tasks include physical labor and volunteers will work for a 6-hour shift. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old to participate and they will receive a commemorative t-shirt and lunch. Community partners include Friends of West Hollywood Elementary and the West Hollywood Design District. Space is limited and advanced registration is REQUIRED! No walk-ins!
