The GreatShake Out is on the horizon! At 10:16 a.m., you can join over 9.6 million in California and over 20 million people worldwide in the Great ShakeOut! This annual event helps to educate and prepare our local community for an earthquake. During the ShakeOut, you will simulate actions to be taken during an actual earthquake. It only takes a few minutes to participate and practicing “drop, cover and hold on” can help you survive and recover from an actual earthquake.
