  • Location: West Hollywood Park
    647 N. San Vicente Boulevard

Presented as part of the One City One Pride LGBTQ Arts Festival.  The evening begins with a social hour and presentations followed by the Dyke March and concluding with the Lavender Menace Celebration of Women.

Formerly known as Purple Party, LA PRIDE has rebranded the free Friday night celebration as ‘Lavender Menace’, a nod to a group of radical Lesbian feminists from the 70’s who came together to fight discrimination. Today, Lavender Menace combines a community celebration of women with activism while honoring Lesbians who have paved the way for today’s TLGB community. Lavender Menace is a free event for all ages and genders and takes place in West Hollywood Park on June 6th from 5pm-12am. Continuing through the weekend, LA PRIDE is geared up to WOW attendees with this year’s unprecedented entertainment lineup, and new Festival experiences on June 7th & 8th.

Kicking off ‘Lavender Menace’ A Free Friday Celebration Of Women are two highly anticipated artists, both of whom have recently had career highlights, including a performance at the Grammy’s, to an adorable viral video that has gone on to reach millions of viewers across the world.
