Held in conjunction with the exhibition EZTV: Video Transfer, and in anticipation of the special digital art installation event “ONE Night” to be held on May 31, this panel discussion will consider the history of computer art in Southern California and its relationship to digital media and large-scale projection art today. The discussion will look at the overlapping histories of the alternative video gallery EZTV and ACM SIGGRAPH, and how these two groups fostered experiential digital art practices during the 1980s and early 90s when computer graphics and digital imagery were in their infancy. Support provided by the City of West Hollywood through its Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission. Admission is free. For more information, visit http://one.usc.edu/computer-love
