The City of West Hollywood is hosting a National Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service activity and joining hundreds of communities across the country in commemorating the 28th Anniversary of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday. Volunteers will perform landscaping, clean up and painting tasks that require physical work for a 6 hour shift. Advance registration required. Sorry no walk-ins. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age. T-shirt and lunch provided for volunteers. MLK Day partners include Friends of West Hollywood Elementary (FOWHE), and the Sunset Strip Business Association (SSBA).
