Join us for a demonstration of Mehndi, the ancient art of body painting using henna. Henna is a natural plant-based substance used in making temporary designs on the hands. A Mehndi artist will provide information on the cultural origins and uses of this form of body art and demonstrate it by creating designs on the hands of those who attend. The program is open to adults and teens as part of West Hollywood Library's Summer Reading Program and is being sponsored by the Friends of the West Hollywood Library. Validated parking will be provided. For more information please call the library at (310) 652-5340.
