The conference Friday night kick-off features a keynote address from Geena Davis, Chair of the California Commission on the Status of Women and Founder of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media, and an exclusive screening of the Academy Award nominated film “The Invisible War.” There will be a panel discussion moderated by Maria Hall-Brown, Executive Producer for Arts and Culture programming on PBS SoCal with the film’s director Kirby Dick, producer Amy Ziering, Madeline DiNonno, Executive Director of the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media and Allison Gill, US Navy Veteran.
