The City of West Hollywood will commemorate the 15th anniversary of V-Day, the global effort to end violence against women in all of its forms with a special community performance of The MENding Monologues. Inspired by Eve Ensler’s play, The Vagina Monologues, this 90-minute show explores gender violence issues from a male perspective using first-person monologues and hard-hitting slam poetry. The MENding Monologues will empower audience members to become advocates for global change. Co-sponsored by the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board, West Hollywood Domestic Violence Community Response Team and Hollywood NOW. Q & A following the performance and dessert reception. Admission is $5:00. Parking available in the 5-story West Hollywood Park/Library Parking Garage. Limited seating so RSVP encouraged.
