As part of the 15th Anniversary of V-Day, the global effort to end violence against women in all of its form, the City of West Hollywood presents the MENding Monologues Writing Workshop. Come and join Derek Dujardin, creator of the MENding Monologues and members of the troupe as they put on a creative and empowering writing workshop. The MENding Monologues is a 90-minute show, inspired by The Vagina Monologues, that explores gender violence issues from a male perspective and empowers men and women to become advocates against sexual violence. Through an interactive process of dialog and story sharing in writing circles this workshop will focus on inspiring individuals from all walks of life to explore writing their own stories to experience the transformative power it possesses.
