The City of West Hollywood is co-sponsoring a community forum ”Abortion Under Siege” presented by the National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles commemorating the 40th anniversary of Roe V. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion in the United States. The focus will be on reaching out to the younger generation to become involved in the fight for choice and reproductive freedom. Special speakers include Serena Josel, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, Dr. Arthur Fleisher, OBGYN and Reina Martinez, West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board. Additional speakers to be announced. This program is also co-sponsored by NARAL Pro-Choice America, Planned Parenthood Los Angeles, Miracle Mile NOW, Hollywood NOW and the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board. Admission is free.
