Join the City of West Hollywood at its next meeting of the West Hollywood Lesbians’ Discussion Group. The West Hollywood Lesbians’ Discussion Group will encourage attendees to discuss their own experiences about issues of importance to the Lesbian community. The SHE discussion group will provide an open space for building relationships, promoting dialog, and creating solutions for issues currently facing Lesbians. In this month’s program, the topic is “Dykes on Hikes.” Lesbians face a myriad of unique health issues. Come learn what our challenges are and how to best address them. Listen to the experiences of other women and share stories of your own as we work together as a community to focus on our health – body, mind, and spirit. Discussion topics include: health and fitness, access to lesbian friendly providers, ways to keep ourselves healthy, healthy activities, women’s cancers, pregnancy, abortion, aging and menopause.
