The SPCA LA in conjunction with the City of West Hollywood will offer a low-cost vaccination and microchipping clinic on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at the City of West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard. The clinic will be open from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., while supplies last. The last patient will be taken at 12:30 p.m.
“Microchipping your dog or cat is one of the most responsible actions you can take. Sadly, many pets end up at shelters every year because they don't have proper identification, and some are never reunited with their pet guardians,” stated West Hollywood Mayor Jeffrey Prang. “With our low-cost Vaccination and Microchipping Clinic, there’s no excuse not to be prepared in case your dog or cat decides to take off on his own little adventure,” added Mayor Prang.
The clinic will offer rabies vaccinations for $5 for dogs and cats, as well as DHPP for dogs for $15 and Bordetella for dogs for $10. FVRCP and Leukemia vaccines for cats will be offered for $15. Microchipping will be offered for both dogs and cats at a cost of $25. Prices are subject to change. Parking will be available behind West Hollywood City Hall, off of Sweetzer Avenue.
