The National Council of Jewish Women/LA will host a free screening of the groundbreaking investigative documentary “The Invisible War,” which won the Audience Award at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival. From Oscar®- and Emmy®-nominated filmmaker Kirby Dick (“This Film Is Not Yet Rated” and “Twist of Faith”), “The Invisible War” exposes one of America’s most shameful and best-kept secrets: the epidemic of rape within the U.S. military. The film’s producer, Amy Ziering, will be on hand to answer questions after the screening. This event is co-sponsored by the West Hollywood Women’s Advisory Board.
