The City’s Long Range & Mobility Planning Division will host a street-side Community Open House to present the work of the Avenues Working Group, a steering committee that has been working on a streetscape master plan for the Avenues District over the last five months. We will have a food truck at this event – and we’ll be transforming a corner of Melrose Avenue into an inviting space, one that will demonstrate how the area will be converted to pedestrian space as part of the Avenues project. This event will be an opportunity for the public to review the plan, mingle with neighbors, staff and consultants, and provide feedback on the project.
