Join the City of West Hollywood at its second meeting of the West Hollywood Lesbians’ Discussion Group. The West Hollywood Lesbians’ Discussion Group will encourage attendees to discuss their own experiences about issues of importance to the Lesbian community. The SHE discussion group will provide an open space for building relationships, promoting dialog, and creating solutions for issues currently facing Lesbians. In this month’s program, the topic is “Dating to Mating.” Our discussion will examine the most important “L” word of all: Love. We will discuss all aspects of lesbian relationships, from meeting someone and moving in to commitment and the impact of long term cohabitation. Discussion topics include: when to play and when to stay, is the 2nd date too soon for a U-Haul, how to be a “we” instead of a “me”, introducing your partner to your family, romantic rituals, domestic violence and sexual trauma, and breaking up. Admission is free. Validated parking will be available in the five-story parking structure adjacent to the Library.
