CITYWIDE YARD SALES RETURNS
Weekend of July 14 & 15, 2012
With the success of the first annual WehoGrnWknd and the Citywide Yard Sales last, we are planning to bring it back in 2012. But holding it off until later in the year where we are not threatened by rainy weather.
So, mark your calendars and watch for further information as we plan our mid-summer yard sale and recycling event.
Helping the environment and making money has never been so easy. Make some extra cash at the City of West Hollywood’s first free city-wide yard sale, one of the environmental-friendly events planned for “WehoGrnWknd” (West Hollywood Green Weekend) to be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 and Sunday, July 15, 2012. Watch for details on registering sometime in May.
For one weekend, West Hollywood is turning into a citywide estate sale and will help you promote your sale by listing the location and time on the City’s website. Cruise for bargains all over town and go green by reducing waste and keeping valuable resources out of the landfill. Whether you’re trying to clear out your attic or searching for secondhand treasures, reusing items is one of the smartest ways to reduce waste.
Document Shredding and E-Waste Collection
Also taking place during WehoGrnWknd, the City of West Hollywood will sponsor a FREE Document Shredding and E-Waste Collection on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at West Hollywood City Hall, 8300 Santa Monica Boulevard.
So, plan ahead, and look for more information on our July event sometime in May 2012.
