Event co-hosted by the City of West Hollywood and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). WHAP! Is a new lecture series ranging from critical and political theory to film screenings and conversations about art and architecture. Aesthetics of Translation will feature a conversation with Erik Bullot, filmmaker and scholar of modern French cinema; and Rebecca Baron, a filmmaker whose award-winning experimental and documentary films have been screened extensively in the US and abroad.
