Event co-hosted by the City of West Hollywood and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts). WHAP! Is a new lecture series ranging from critical and political theory to film screenings and conversations about art and architecture. Biology and Politics will feature a conversation with Catherine Malabou, professor of philosophy at Kingston University in London; Mike Bryant, a biologist, statistician, and professor at CalArts; and Arne De Boever, a professor and director of the MA Program in Aesthetics and Politics at CalArts.
