The City of West Hollywood invites you to attend C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group’s Pre-Thanksgiving and holiday dinner events. The events will consist of five meal distributions at local encampments and transitional living centers, beginning on Friday, November 22, 2024. There will be an in-person gathering on Thanksgiving Eve, Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at QQ Café, located at 830 San Julian Street in Downtown Los Angeles.
This year, C.I.T.Y. x1 Youth Group will also be hosting Tamale Wars, a holiday dinner event that will include dinner, dancing, holiday carolers, access to community resources, and a performance from the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles. This free holiday dinner will take place on Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Plummer Park Community Center, Rooms 5 and 6, located at 7377 Santa Monica Boulevard.
Community Intervention Through Youth (C.I.T.Y.) x1 Youth Group is a non-profit organization committed to putting on free social events for at-risk and homeless youth between the ages of 14-24. C.I.T.Y. x1 is dedicated to connecting LGBTQ+ homeless youth to life-changing social services including, GED and job training, transitional housing assistance, medical care and health services, support groups, and food assistance.
