Celebrate BIPOC Feminist trailblazers in the arts including a sneak preview screening of filmmaker Jen Cheng’s new docu-series featuring interviews of visionaries Jewelle Gomez, Dr. Stephanie Anne Johnson, Madeleine Lim, and Kim Shuck with insights on how to sustain creative careers and communities. The Bridges Across Homelands event includes Los Angeles-based arts leaders Sonia Guiñansaca and Andi Xoch (Latinx with Plants) as panelists for a community discussion. All are welcome to join on Saturday October 5th from 2pm-4pm at the Greenway Court Theatre (Fairfax/Melrose). Free admission. Free parking (same lot as Melrose Trading Post).
