The City of West Hollywood is hosting a National Martin Luther King, Jr. Day of Service activity and joining hundreds of communities across the country in commemorating the 26th Anniversary of the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. Federal Holiday. Volunteers are needed to help with a beautification project at West Hollywood Elementary on Saturday, January 14th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Volunteers will perform landscaping and painting tasks that require physical work for a 4 hour shift.
Advance registration required. Sorry no walk-ins. Volunteers must be at least 12 years of age. T-shirt and Lunch provided for volunteers. MLK Day partners include Friends of West Hollywood Elementary, FOWHE and the Sunset Strip Business Association, SSBA.
